Welcome to The Lab Series. By purchasing a test or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Service Overview

  • The Lab Series is a direct-to-consumer functional lab testing service.

  • We provide private lab test kits and results.

  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our service is for educational and informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase tests.

  • By ordering, you confirm the information you provide is true and accurate.

  • Tests are currently available only to residents of Australia.

3. Ordering & Payment

  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.

  • Prices include shipping, handling, and lab fees unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to change prices or cancel orders prior to dispatch.

4. Shipping & Turnaround Times

  • Test kits are shipped via standard post/courier.

  • Shipping times may vary; The Lab Series is not liable for delays caused by postal services, couriers, or events outside our control.

  • Most results are returned within 7-14 business days after the lab receives your sample. Turnaround times are estimates only.

5. Use of Tests & Results

  • You are responsible for carefully following the collection instructions provided. Incorrect collection may invalidate your test.

  • Results are for personal information only and should not replace professional medical advice.

  • You are encouraged to discuss your results with a qualified healthcare provider.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch are eligible for a refund (less admin fees).

  • Once a kit has been dispatched, no refunds are available.

  • Refunds are not available for:

    • Unused kits

    • Improperly collected samples

    • Delayed turnaround times

  • If your kit arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days for a replacement.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • The Lab Series and its affiliates are not responsible for:

    • Any medical decisions you make based on results

    • Misuse of information provided

    • Consequences from delays, errors, or failed samples

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the test.

8. Privacy & Data

  • We collect personal information (name, address, DOB, phone number, full name) to process orders and provide results.

  • We may securely share data with partner laboratories as required.

  • Your data will never be sold to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website (logo, branding, copy, design) is owned by The Lab Series.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without written permission.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia

  • Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria, Australia.

11. Updates to Terms

  • We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our site or services means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Membership Subscriptions

The following additional terms apply to all Lab Series membership plans (Basic and VIP).

12.1 Billing & Commitment

Memberships are billed monthly. All plans operate on a 12-month minimum commitment. By subscribing, you agree to pay the monthly fee for the full 12-month period.

12.2 Lab Credits

Lab credits are issued on a drip schedule: Basic members receive 1 credit every 3 months (4 total per year); VIP members receive 1 credit every 2 months (6 total per year). One credit is granted immediately upon subscription activation. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and do not carry over into a new 12-month cycle.

12.3 Lab Redemption

When a credit is redeemed, The Lab Series will order the selected functional test with our accredited lab partner within 48 hours. Lab results are the property of the member and are made available via your member dashboard. The Lab Series does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment in connection with any result.

12.4 Failed Payments

If a monthly payment fails, your lab credit drip will be paused until the payment is recovered. If payment is not recovered within a reasonable period, The Lab Series reserves the right to suspend the membership.

12.5 Cancellation Policy

Memberships cannot be cancelled within the 12-month commitment period except in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of The Lab Series. Upon completion of the 12-month period, memberships will not automatically renew without your consent.

12.6 VIP Extras

VIP members receive one (1) personalised health coaching call per 12-month cycle. This call does not carry over on renewal. Protocol PDFs are generated following each completed lab result and made available in your member dashboard.

12.7 Pricing Changes

The Lab Series reserves the right to change membership pricing. Existing members will receive no less than 30 days notice before any price change takes effect on their plan.
